How ordering works.

Every composition is blended by this studio. Where a perfume is described as an interpretation of a house — “inspired by”, or “interprets” — it is our own recipe working towards that character. It is not the original, it is not sold as the original, and it arrives in a Perfume Studio flacon, not the house’s bottle. We are not connected to, endorsed by, or acting for any of the houses named.

House names are used only to describe what a composition smells like. All trademarks belong to their owners.

Choosing a size and pressing Place order sends the studio a request. Nothing is charged at that moment. A perfumer confirms the total and the delivery with you, usually on WhatsApp, and the order is only agreed once they have.

We may decline an order — most often because something has just sold out, or a delivery address is outside what our courier covers. You will be told, and nothing will have been taken.

Prices are in Sri Lankan rupees and include any applicable taxes. The price you are shown at checkout is the price the studio works from.

Payment is by bank transfer or cash on delivery. For a transfer the studio sends account details quoting your reference, and blending begins once it clears. For cash on delivery, have the total ready for the courier.

Island-wide delivery is LKR 500 and arrives within 24 hours on working days; collection from the studio is free.

If a parcel arrives damaged, leaking, or not what you ordered, message the studio within seven days with your reference and a photograph. It will be replaced or refunded.

Perfume is worn on skin, so an opened bottle cannot be resold and we cannot take it back simply because the scent was not to taste. This is why the studio offers the smallest decant and will let you try a composition before you commit to a full flacon — please do use that.

Fragrance behaves differently on different skin, and a high-concentrate blend will smell stronger and last longer than an eau de toilette. That is the product working as intended, not a fault.

A composition adjusted to your brief is made for you specifically and cannot be resold, so it cannot be returned. The studio will agree the brief and the price with you in advance before making anything.

Mark the order as a gift at checkout and the studio leaves the invoice out of the parcel and writes your message on the card. The person who placed the order remains the one we deal with about it.
